Exams Are Over, Back To Shred... Maybe Back To Exams?

Finished my last exam today. Of the 6 i had to sit, all but one went very very well. It was a practical exam and i froze up in it. Left my brain in the hall and just started doing things without thinking about it. The worst part is, the practical exam makes up 45% of my final grade. I'll be getting a B in the course (i'm so ashamed, my first B :s) because i had A's in theoretical course work and in my written exam, but without passing the practical i can't certify and move on to more advanced work in that stream of the field. I'm debating whether i try to just get it done now or wait till i come back. I really don't want to stress about doing it again while trying to uproot my life and move to another continent. Oh, and i'm having all 4 wisdom teeth removed on wednesday... sweet. Just alot going on right now, and i'd rather get other things sorted first. Leaving it till later might be a worse idea though. Arg. I can't decide...

Kicked with erik and manna tonight in celebration of exams being overwith (for now). Erik and i played like crap. I couldn't help but laugh... i did a 5 contact SBOSC. Straight terrible. i didn't know if i wanted to keep on trucking and work basics or try stupid hard stuff and not worry about it. Some highlights from it all though:
-torque> ss symp swirl bsos
-pdx torque> ss symp swirl bs (i want the repeat!)
-symp mirage> symp whirl> pdx flail> rpt
-blur> dolomite> blur> paradon (couldn't get the dolomite flip :s)

Hit 3 new 6's today. I don't know if i hit 3 new tricks all last season, so this was quite an event. The weirder thing was i hit most of them first try 8o
-pixie dolomite (first try. dolomite felt really solid, thought, hey why not try?)
-fairy dolomite (this trick feels so cool, did it shortly after pixie dolomite)
-alpine fog (had tried and tried and tried this trick in the past, but never managed to get a good handcatch, always just off the foot or too off balance to catch it. Manna and i were doing motw's, and he was trying it, but couldn't hit it. I said "here, let me try". And i nailed it first try. the guys said it looked clean, but i want to wait for the camera before i feel too good about my self. had flip off my toe.)
The new tricks were nice and really brought my spirits up after the crappy session. Manna played alright. Not his best, but he was doing longer strings with his usual shuffle mix. he's getting really consistent, and had a nice run with tomohawk bsos, and another run with spiked hammer bsos, which was new(er?) for him.
Outlook for the week ahead looks bleak: Christmas shopping, Malls, tooth extractions, continuation of -30 degree temps, pain. I can't wait for christmas to finish up. Send me my damned work visa already, i need sunny beaches and relaxation!!!
